What software does everyone use to rip promo only dvds? I want a software that will allow me to select which tracks I want to rip so I can uncheck the intros. Any suggestions?

I use Mpeg Streamclip... Works great for converting lots of format's as well...

Does Streamclip work on the dreaded P.O. ambients as well?

forget it just use promo's mpeg or dff series.

Yes, does promo only do an Mpeg disc? I thought that was only Screen Play?

I use Cinematize Pro to pick what tracks I want. I get an exceptional uncompressed video and audio file (1.5Gb-2GB per video roughly). I then use Visualhub to convert to mpeg2. Each video ends up being between 200mb-350mb big and the quality of video and audio are remarkable. In my experience Virtual DJ Pro works perfectly with these files.

brousscm,

Do you notice a big difference with the way you do it - and just ripping the VOB directly from the disc - say with StreamRipper?
