I now use the Denon HD 2500 and have a couple of questions.
1) Is it possible to make my own mapper? If yes, how? I tried the same way as when I made my VCI 100 mapper.
2) How do I use the controller as is to jump thru/to multiple cue points in a song? If not possible this is why I asked question 1.

I am just in the process of selling my 2500 and have replaced it with the HC4500. The 2500 is NOT MIDI. Note that there is no MIDI logo to be found anywhere on the unit. The only reason it even works as a controller is because as an afterthought Denon decided to add it as a firmware update.
It also had major issues with VDJ as others have also attested to because of not being a true MIDI unit. Hope that helps and doesn't make u want to kick yourself like I did for not getting the 4500 in the first place.

Issues with VDJ??? I've used one at my monthly residency for months with no problems. It was flawless. I ran it last night at my main residency for 6hrs with no issues. Tonight Ill run it for 8 hours.

If it works for you run with it. There were others who have had crashes while using the 2500. The main thing though is the 4500 IS MIDI while the 2500 is not.
