I'm building a desktop and am lookin for an internal sound card that will work w/ vdj? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any sound card will work as long as it is capable of 5.1 then all you do is put your headphones into the line out rear and your speakers into line out front then just configue vdj to them settings.. I used the realtek onboard sound card witch comes as standard on most motherboards nowadays which worked fine for me.

Creative x-fi rance spring to mind, but make sure before you buy that you know which internal slot it will be going into... PCI or PCI 1x, etc. if youre unsure, take the manual for your motherbord with you..

ok let me get this right, as long as its 5.1 i can listen to deck a in the headphones while deck b is playing, or vice versa, just like w my numark djio?

Yes. Some Realtek boards even allow you to separate the front inputs from the rear completely. I use these to cue with.

Yes thats correct its simple like i say on my home computer when i use vdj i only use my realtk HD Auido just plug your speakers into the green line out like normal then plug your headphoens into the blue line out then a little box appears asking you what you have just plugged into the line in socket select line out and then configure vdj to that setting and thats it.

my MB has built in 7.1 surround thats works the headphones great.
