The same with me.

Everything works fine with de DAC-2.

But I really miss the function of the outer wheel.......


It's a simple code i have to fill in, but I can't find it.

Can someone help me/us?

I've the DAC-2 with VDJ 6 and the new mapper.

Can some find out what the command is to seek true the song with the outer wheel????????

I just upgraded to 6.0 and have the same problem with the Dac 2, no outer jog wheel or BPM or Time remaining on the display of the Dac. I I havn't been on the VDJ Site for several months and see that all the posts on this topic are from June. No updates since then. Does this mean nobody has been able to properly map the outer wheel on the Dac 2?
 
Correction on the dates of the posts. Just noticed the previous post was Aug. 9th. So this is still a problem. Anyone getting close yet?
 
downloaded dgruetter's Dac 2 mapper and when I hit the .exe file, goit a message saying "make sure Dac 2 is connected to USB port". It was so I hit ok. Then opened VDJ ver. 6 and it seems the mapper that came with ver. 6 is still there. No change as far as functinality. Do I have to somehow select or turn on dgruetter's Dac 2 mapper and if so how? I want to get BPM, Time remaining and outer jog wheel working and am hoping his mapper solves these problems(except for the outer jog wheel as it seems no one has solved that problem yet).
 
There shouldn't be an .exe in the download file. Just a Zipped .XML file. Just unzip it into \VirtualDJ\Mappers and replace the default mapper (which I believe is blank anyway). Then all you need to do is make sure you select "use serial devices" in the mappers section on the options screen. Then it should work.
 
Thanks, it's working better now. I can see the BPM's and elapsed time. Is there a way to see time remaining instead of elapsed time?

Yeah, I can live without the outer wheel but it would be nice to have full functionality of the dac-2.

I'm also a registered user... whose VDJ6 sits in a folder... uninstalled... until somebody with the code-smarts I DON'T have gets the DAC2 jog wheels to work like it did in VDJ5 :( Soon, I hope... keep us posted !

You mean the OUTER WHEEL or the inner WHEEL ?

dgruetter, you think you could send me/post the mapping XML for the DAC 2? It would be a great help...
