Because you are using a cracked version of 5.0 .... please download and try v6 trial.
Also, what type of server is the website using ? Icecast or Shoutcast ?

go dl NOIP and get a vertual server ;)
NOIP will give you a vertual server to broadcast from, you will be given an option to select a server i use bounceme.net, then choose a name for your broadcast. eg.. yourname.bounceme.net,
be sure you have port 8000 opened up on your router and that should be it. NOIP will even detect the automatic change in your vdj broadcast name and allow listeners to connect via DNS.
and open the url in media player not their net browser.
they gotta connect as so
yourname.bounceme.net/8000
play about and you will get it working, i did no propblem.
google works wonders

man i hate having to dumb things down, google is great fo research, but here it is,
SIGH
go dl NOIP........
http://www.no-ip.com/downloads.php
install the application and sign up for an account
this will give you a virtual server to broadcast from using DNS. the fact that VDJ changes the broadcast url with each broadcast is a twat, which is the reason you need to use DNS. DNS will allow a single url to be used constantly no matter how many times VDJ changes the url.
now then, sigh... VDJ broadcasts via port 8000, this port should be forwarded to allow the broadcast to be .
then you will be able to connect via the virtual server you get with NOIP.
also how do you know youre not already broadcasting???????? A TENNER ON THE BET YOUR TRYING TO CONNECT USING YOUR OWN NETWORK, broadcasting from and trying to connect to the same IP address range, DOES NOT WORK.
just one more thing, and no offence but being an unlisenced user (as am i) you really do need to do a lot of your own research, google and the forums here are extremely usefull. members who have paid their dues for this software and the tech team, in my opinion wont really want to help someone who wont help themself.
oh and btw ive purposley left out the most simple part of this equasion so as to not give you an easy ride. ;) it took me a long time to work this out and i read hundreds or webpages and learned the hard way.
