of got how to select and adtivate buttons just looking for some help to map buttons 1 and four and to each side on rmx
button 1 for loop in and button four for loop out
jog wheels for dearching and scratching
also on 6.1 skin can i just set loop to beats i want ie 8 or 16 and use my buttons to start and stop
hope someone can give me commands thanks guys

Here you go again ... another post that you could have kept in another thread ... Please DO NOT open a post for every thought that you have.
To answer your question -- if you are using a RMX skin then just select the Loop IN and Loop OUT on the skin for those buttons.
In the mapper assign for button 1 - loop_in and button 4 - loop_out
That simple. You don't need to assign it for each side as button 1 is button 1 on deck 1 and deck 2.
Again, please don't open more threads on the same topic ... you now like 5 threads all asking the same basic questions of how to map your controller.

sorry again mate i know im wrecking your head but doin what im being told and its not working for me so thought diff thread and heading so people mite have already mapped buttons this way.done just as you said and not working im using 6 skin.just want to use this updated version so much as its top of everything to me at the mo.jut looking for exact script text from experienced users.

as i said mate dont do much with my rmx only use buttons and search and scratch sometimes.really appriciate users and teams help because not everyone (me) are computer literate and i seem dumb to you for not being able to read simple commands
as i said in my drop down box i dont have loop in there is there a way for me to see it there again

jog tried lots off different command nothing happening at all

ok guys messing around to the wee hours lol.dont know how but got job wheel to scroll through songs when down pressed also got wheels to scratc just like in 5.2. only thing now is how do i get loop in to show in drop down box of effects.honestly havent a clue what i did as cstoll said just write what you want in script form thanks cstoll
