Since 6.1 alot of my zipped cd+g files are not displaying the lyrics just sounding the music. I scanned the files with zip checker and played them on 5.2 again and they are fine. I have checked to see if there is a codec for cd+g in the properties and there isn't. However doesn't explain why some now work where others don't.

I have just discovered that files which were previously zipped with mp3+toolz some work some won't suggesting that VDJ no longer can read the compression. Begiinning to doubt the benefits of the upgrade as its only caused problem after problem . I suppose as with previous versions things will settle down. I just wish that the team allowed the long term users to Beta test the software as its very unfair that a new release is causing a repeat of no confidence when using it.

Just be sure that when you re-compress, your mp3+g toolz compression is set to number 5, 'default compression.' Otherwise you might be headed for trouble with VDJ playing them.

Thank you for your reply. I did try the 5 default setting with out any success. Winwar works how ever to unzip and rezip 60000 + songs individually gonna take days. I may have to revert to 5.2 which is defeating the point of upgrading.
