Tópico: Any plans for BCD3000 Mic support??

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi VDJ,
Was eagerly anticipating the release of VDJ 6, the club I DJ in has Virtual DJ 5 and PCDJ setups on 2 comps with DAC-3's, at the moment however, I am not buying a copy for home use, (stuck with BCD3000 & Traktor 3 at the moment) due to the BCD3000's mic problems with VDJ.
Is a fix likely to be soon, as judging from the trial version VDJ 6 is fantastic, BPM engine is near flawless and some stability issues have been dealt with.
I like the setup of the BCD3000 and would like to stick with it rather than switching to Total Control.

Thanks in advance guys.

VDJ guys,
Come on, I know I haven't as yet purchased VDJ 6, the only thing stopping me is the lack of support for BCD-3000 MIC and the apparent lack of tech support from VDJ, but I think a REPLY from a tech guy would have been appreciated.

We all know that VDJ supports Numark and Hercules more than any other manfacturers owing to the fact that they both come packaged with what is in essence VDJ, but a little better hardware support for the guys with Behringer (which judging from the forums, there are a lot of them) would be appreciated.

Behringer have confirmed to me that the MIC input problem is VDJ's problem (due to its lack of ASIO input support) which is confirmed by the fact that Traktor (whilst ugly and slow) does allow MIC input and mixing at the same time.

So reiterating my question, will there be any development for VDJ to implement BCD's MIC input or for that matter the phono/line inputs which could be used for a timecoded turntable setup?

Thanks in advance

Guys, come on, some input would be great.

New features that are going to be implemented are never usually discussed or confirmed by the dev team or staff...

Thanks for reply,

I appreciate that, but there must be some kind of input from yourselves, as to how to make the product better, I don't think it's the VDJ fat cats that get much of a say in the products and releases but you guys and the development team.

As for my issue, like i've said, I won't switch to VDJ for home use until the BCD mic issue is sorted. I am a DJ on an community radio station (Dance & Trance) as well and it makes it hard to pre-record the non-live shows at home using VDJ because I have to split my work then insert voice clips using Audacity, whereas it would be much easier to record mix and talk all at once.

In the club where I DJ the setup is DAC-3's with a brand new VDJ 6, and I must say it's an excellent program, I only hope you guys manage to sort out what seems to be quite an easy fix. I know there have been lots of other posts regarding the BCD3000 and I know it isn't the best bit of kit out there, but it does seem that VDJ is cutting a sizeable chunk from their client base by apparently only supporting Numark and Hercules controllers fully.

Thanks again.

Any news on this?

Is there support for the Mic on the BCD3000? I've seen posts almost 2 years old claiming it "could" take another year.

That means that the team handling this request "should" have had plenty of time, however, that does not seem to be the case and there is no Mic support for this unit.

I take that a as big "NO" lol

As the most professional DJs uses external mixer - i think this do not has any 'big' priority.

BTW, what about registering your version of VDJ ? **also LOL**

Are you crazy? Have you read this post?

You think I’m going to go ahead an buy a software that doesn’t do what I need it do. I have seen the same answer from some other (no words) just like you before. Buy, BUY, BUY it sucks but buy it anyways.
NOT
I’m a traktor user just working for a cheap company that uses this software.

"""""How about someone stops lying to their paying customers and does what they need to do. Or how about your customers realizing you guys are just a bunch of incompetent liars?"""""""

I only use this software because of my employee, and after listening to idiots like you I you think I’m spending my money?
