Kids are KIDS... they run, play, scream, cry and again run and play... They are kids, that is what they do better, live each minute, live the moment "now" and "here".
If a kid don't play or run (with others too)... maybe isn't healthy or is ill... I feel happy when I saw kids playing in a safe place, and DJ booth isn't it... As I am the BIG guy, they I do what ever I need to to keep kids been kids and my personal stuff safe too.

The comments are way to funny!!! On the serious side I definitely put the host on notice way prior to the event and if the kids are running around is because boredom has struck. Having the host provide some type of activities for them away from the dance floor & totally away from the DJ is a must! If that fails then start playing the Hokey Pokey, Bunny Hop and etc. You will see the kids have fun and the real kids (adults) will join in as well.
