Hi,
I'm using Traktor since years but from time to time I test VDJ if it will fit my needs better.
I must say that I'm impressed from the skinning system and the bunch of possibilities.
But for the moment there are also some things I miss.
The main thing I miss for the moment is the following :
In Traktor there was a kind of snap to beat function.
If you turn this on, this affects 2 major things:
1) start points of loops are set beat accurate (not only correct length, but also the start point is on the beat)
2) when you click in the waveform of the Track (overview of complete Track), the jump to this position is in beat.
This is a really great function, if you need some extra time, maybe for preparing the next song or if a live act is not ready.
Is this also possible in Virtual DJ ?

yo can jump to the first beat but right clicking the pause/stop button depending on the skin you use... and you can jump ahead or back by the beat by holding alt and pressing left/right respectively.

Sorry, its not exactly the same, but not easy to describe ...
Traktor makes "beat correct" jump to the corresponding place
VDJ jumps to next beat at the clicked place and then synchronises.
In Traktor this sound like cut, in best vase you don't here anything
in VDJ this is a (beat correct) stuttering or a kind "Woosh!".
This stuttering can be a nice effect, but my intension was to go back in the song, as it is not noticeable to the people.
maybe a short asci art can describe it
T is the where the current play marker is at the end of the song

You can do it with shortcuts - seek for example. But when you click the waveform it won't snap to beat.
