Ok Ive found the problem. I contacted itunes and they have refunded me because their karaoke tracks DO NOT DISPLAY LYRICS! Perhaps they should title these backing tracks or instrumentals but certainly not karaoke. If you do want to buy download karaoke files, i recommend these people. http://BuyKaraokeDownLoads.com/ Its like itunes for karaoke except they actually work. :)

There's always the hard (but free) way to do it: If you already have the instrumental, get a CDG creator software and sync the lyrics by yourself.

Rob, the best way I have found for karaoke is the same good old fashioned way. Buy CDG discs and rip them. I get all of the latest from Sunfly, Sound Choice, Chartbuster and others, rip them to my external drive and shelve the discs in my CD/CDG/DVD/HD DVD/BlueRay library. I haven't attempted to buy pre-ripped formats online. Last time I did that there were problems with the files. Besides, I like having my backups.
