I just bought a mac after reading on the spec page that VDJ was supported by mac OS. Is the download version the same for mac and pc or do I need to get a special one. After I make the purchase of VDJ, will it ask me? I am clueless to the mac world but am tired of PC crashes and desperately am willing to try a new route.

Yes, if you make a purchase of VDJ Pro from this virtualdj site, you can download both version provided.
