Hi,

I have a decent pair of Pioneer headphones with a connection problem, they work in my mixer but only when they are plugged in loosely, if I plug them in properly to my mixer or soundcard, that is when they "snap" in I only get a low-fi signal.

Does anyone know of a good place that repairs headphones? Or is it not worth it?

Thanks

have the pionnears got a large jack attachment? i thought my sonys where going dodgy only to realise that the jack was'nt in properly. might pay you to try a different jack addapter

Yes they have a large jack, I'll try swapping it with a different one see if I get any joy.

Hi mate.
I am back in the UK in September. If you dont find a repair agent by then I would be happy to repair your cans FOC. The only thing that tends to fail on the Pioneer HP's is the connections in the Jack, the jack itself. or the wires at the entry point to the earpphones. Its not a big fix. If I can help ile be happy to .

Thanks Daz, that's kind of you to offer.

I'll try changing the jack and if that fails I may be in touch!

try and find a euronics centre near you they do a great repair service. they are actually a registered technics repair centre but im sure they will do pioneers too if you ask. there is one near me that i used when i was movig home, my father in law (dumb retard) instead of cutting the cable ties on the speaker cables for my technics hifi system to remove the system from the stand...cut the speaker cables that had phonos on the end...he cut the dam things about 2" from the rear of the speaker...

needless to say i was rather upset that he had just screwed my half a grand hifi...

anywho you could use the technics repair centre locator found here

http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Support/Service+information/Repair+Centre+Locator+UK/220257/index.html

and find the one closest to you... phone them and ask if they will repair the HP's for you ...

i have tried to find a pioneer repair centre but cant seem to find any though to be honest im sure a technics repair centre can help.

let me know how you get on.
