I recently purchased a Mac. I have been using a PC up until now.
I used both Scratch Live and Virtual DJ on my PC.
On my PC, Virtual DJ recognizes the ScratchLive soundcard, so up until now I just use the ScratchLive soundcard while using Virtual DJ.
However, I just install both ScracthLive and Virtual DJ on my Mac; but Virtual DJ does not recognize the ScratchLive soundcard on the Mac??
Anyone know why this is?

i tried to use scratch live on my mac. via the hercules trim 4&6 soundcard and it doesn't work. but since scratch live, itch. whatever software is free cause u can download it from there website free of charge but u need the soundcard im guessing now that i tested it out a few days ago. that it doesnt.

Serato only works with their own soundcards. Unlike VirtualDJ it cannot be used with almost any sound card of your own choice.
Serato is not free - It's price is included in the cost of purchasing their sound card, without which the software is more or less useless for DJ'ing.
