hello all,

2 quick questions for VDJ 6.x....

Is there way to set VDJ so that the BPM is round to a whole number ? I want 89.0 as opposed to 89.03

Where does VDJ store virtual folders? Can virtual folders be backed-up or moved?

thanx...

there is a virtual dj folder on your documents folder you can copy and paste it anywhere you want...this folder contains your skins you playlists and all the mods you make to virtual dj there is a spread sheet called virtualdj database 6 or whatever version you have in my case its version 6 which is to me the most important one to back up since it keeps track of your bpm your, song keys, and all your cues...i have this backed up on a sd card....hope this helps?

Keep in mind though that if VDJ were to round your bpms to a whole number then your beatgrid would be slightly off. Sure at the beginning of the song the beatgrid would be aligned but by the end of the song it would be off by a bit. Then your next post would be "my beats won't stay in sync".

Be advised that spreadsheets are ".xls" and the database is ".xml". Although you can technically open an xml file with excel, they are not the same.

Also, dizzyrocks is right...If the BPMs were rounded up or down, they would no longer be as accurate as they are now.

Thanx a lot guys....
