Hi guy’s thanks for any help in advance,
I DJ in a club using my Pc its a AMD Dual core 6400, 2 GB ram, Creative Audigy 2 ZS, a ATI x1800xl, 6000GB HD space Asus Motherboard I use no external devices.
I play the music out of 1 of the soundcard channels and the headphones/cue out of the other channel; I use MP3's and Xvid Music Videos. I connect all the bars TVs to the TV out on my pc graphics card displaying sonique visulations and the music videos.
I was using Virtual Dj 5 (latest version and currently trying V6 )
I get the problem with both versions and it is very strange basically 1 hour+ from when I start playing music the music stops the deck will be playing and with out any errors or warning it will just stop part way thro a track now I know its not the tracks as it does it on random songs and have replayed the songs without problems once it stop I quickly jump to a CD but its not good as happing with out warning. I can get it to start playing again with-out closing the program by just opening the config menu clicking apply and changing the song then after a few secs it will work again perfect for around another hour before it happens again . When it stops it just stops as if you have pressed pause, but no buttons flash and u can’t get it to respond by pressing pause, cue or play. This was happening on V5 so tried V6 and it has happened again.
I Dj for 5 hours last night and it stopped 6 times but didn’t need to shut the program once ?
They only thing I can think of it that it is the sound card but it is a new card and I have no other sound issue with it and windows
