Tema: 3-lines mixer configuration

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

3-lines mixer configuration seems to work only with 6.1 sound card.

i try with BCD2000 and an my laptop sound card.
Configuration :
Inputs : None
Outputs : 3-Line Mixer
Sound Card : 2 Sound carts First :BCD2000 Second : laptop Sound Card
Chanel's 1&2 :Left Deck Chanel's 3&4 :Right Deck Chanel's 5&6 :Sampler/preview

The sampler sound came out correctly from the laptop sound card, but both deck's sound came out from BCD's both output's ,(both BCD's outputs plays the same)

i try 6.01 and 5.0 rev5 versions....same results

So, it is possible the 3 lines mixes configuration with a BCD2000 for deck’s out and a second sound card for sampler out?? ( ...or perhaps with a pair of EKS XP10 and an extra sound card for sampler out ??) and how???

Thanks, and sorry about my bad English….

3-line mixer only works with a single (1) soundcard that can provide 3 outputs.

The 2 sound card setup is designed to providing an independent output for each deck - which is 2 - not 3.

Which Version of VDJ do you use ??? PC or MAC, Home, LE or Professional ?

It would be a good idea to register your version of VDJ with the 'Modify my profile' button and download the installer again. If you try the version 5 then download 5.2.1 from your download center. The version you used is very old !!!

With 6.01 i can not reproduce your problem. I hope you use a official version of VDJ because all the wild 'copies' in the net are mostly buggy and infected by trojans and viruses.

You could combine mulitiple soundcards using ASIO4ALL which might help you get around this.
