Greetings,
I'm heading to Hawaii to learn to surf, never did it before. I'll be running around Oahu during the night. Can anyone recommend a good kickass dance club to visit?
Someplace with a big system, video, and slammin' DJ?
Aloha,
JimJam

Mahalo,
I can't say I know of a kickass club in Oahu... it seems to be more of a place to chill and drink tropical drinks with little umbrellas. (I used to live there six years ago and things may have changed by now)
Waikiki is a great place to learn how to surf!

Thanks Chibie, Guess I'll muffle the music in my head and chill with a couple of strong drinkies.

I am a long time fan of Maui, but for Oahu, try Zanzabar or Pipeline. Moose's has the best onion rings and is more of a rock&roll bar, but still great food and atmosphere. Hope this helps. Honolulu is not New York or Miami.

Oceans 808 was cool. Good mix of music and an outside Lounge to eat and drink. Never went to Pipeline but the pics look cool. Zanzibar was cool long ago, but it stinks inside. You wait in line for 30 minutes, pay $20 cover to see 75 guys and 2 girls in the club standing around.
