Hi guys i have just orderd all my stuff for my timcoded vinyl setup but just want to ask a quick question about my turntables.
I have got a pair od kam ddx5000s which i won on ebay for quite a good price but i have noticed something wrong with one of them.
The tone arm doesnt balance as well at the other ones does and i cant quite understand why so i started turning a couple of the screws that hold the tonearm in (They Look like they can be adjusted).
When i turned the little screws i noticed it would adjust how high or low the tonearm drops and also how far in or out the the tone goes.
I have played around for a while and have got them a bit better but just want to know if there is any proper correct settings for theses as i cant seem to find anything on the internet about this.
Thanks Guys

I'm unclear what you are trying to adjust. I just looked at a picture of the turntable as I'm not familiar with it. It seems to have all the normal adjustments, balance, anti-skate etc. That should be all you need to adjust. Are you talking about the actual screws that hold the tone arm to the tt base? They should just be tight.
You can download the manual for the TT here. http://www.kam.co.uk/index.php?action=product&product_id=23

Yes i am talking about the the pivot screws that hold the tonearm in place.
1 turntable the arm will balance above the platter and the other tuntable will balance just of where the clip is that holds the tonearm.
So 1 is pulling out more than the other Which i belive is called positive absolute anti-skate when the tonearm pulls outwards which canot be corrected by the anti skate dial as that makes it pull outwards even faster.
I have been told that i need to adjust the top pivot screw that holds the tone arm in place to correct this but i am unsure of correct settings.
I have downloaded the manual but it does not tell you anything about setting these turntables up
