I just bought the Numark Total control and it came with the DJIO. I am running 64 bit Windows Vista and I got the total control to work but I can't get the DJIO to work. I've installed the 64 bit ASIO driver for the DJIO but when i go to settings in Virtual DJ to change the soundcard to the ASIO driver it says theres not enough channels. when i bring up the asio driver config it says no devices connected but the djio is plugged in. any suggestions?

It seems not to be really a problem of VDJ - either a prob of Windows and the driver of the DJIO. VDJ can handle you soundcard just when it is present in your Windows system.
Do you installed it wit Admin rights ?

yeah i did, and yeah i think that windows isn't reconizing the device somehow.
