I finally got VDJ set up to record the video mix with the ffdshow codec but its choppy. My specs on my Asus laptop are:
dual core AMD with 2ghz and 1 or 2 mb
3GB ram
512 video
hard drive is 5400
What do I need to improve to get the video mix crystal clear. My guess is the hard drive is too slow? Thanks

As I mentioned in another thread to someone about this already. Use an external DVD recorder to get crystal clear results. The VDJ record feature is cool but it really isn't the best way to record your sets. There is less strain on your PC when you record out to an external recorder.

Try this....
Download the Registry Tool http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/2170/Registry_Tool.html
Open it and try to use my settings. It\'s not perfect but it has good quality.

Sorry for the greek words in the photos. I amusing Greek Vista, but i think you will find the way to use it.
