when i go to effects and select sound effects i cant activate any of them, neither i can see them in some small box in the lower part of screen... can u help me?

you need to upgrade your version to the original one hence register your serial number.

You may want to look at the home edition. It is not expensive;)

Once you are ready to a bigger solution, you can upgrade to VDJ pro later;)
