I think I may well go for that. I was looking at Numark.s D2 but at that price the Denon is a steal.

Be careful with this Denon model. I may be wrong but I believe that this is not a true midi device (if I can call it that), what I'm saying is that Denon put midi onto this controller as a after thought.
I can remember reading a few threads about this, again I could be wrong though ;)

I am realy looking at this as a backup unit to replace my CDN95 twin cd player. I don't need to hook it up to VDJ as it will be a stand alone CMA unit in case my PC has problems.

The Denon HD2500 was a flop from the start.. The Best Controller denon has is the HC4500.. Even thought the price is good for 299, i still wouldnt buy it. The HC4500 has better features that the HD2500 doesnt have.
