Greetings to All members on this forum. My name is Alex aka DJ-A1, and I am from Baltimore Maryland, born and raised. I just wanted to introduce myself to the board, and express that I have recieved a wealth of information from this board since my purchase of a RMX about 3 months ago, stepping up from an MKII. I had a live gig on Saturday as this was my first, using the RMX and VDJ, and I must admit, it was so great! After using other programs, I'm not going to name names and bash, thats not my style, this combination performed flawlessly without any hiccups in sound or performance! My setup consists of a Gateway PC, 4gb mem, Dual core processor, 250gb hard drive partitioned with music folders stored on data drive, optimized for audio. as far as speakers I have several set-ups depending on the size of the event that I play as I am a mobile Dj.
keep up the great work providing information on this board.

Glad you got on well. Register your Softwear and RMX! Doing this Will get you effects and samples too, all for FREE.

I appreciate that, I will register soon as I get home from work and find my serial number. I am very impressed with the RMX, I may upgrade later to VDJ-6 and get into timecodes in the future, but for now, it suites my needs for the events that I perform at. i truly love the art of Djing, as that is exactly what it is, an art, in which I am a humble student, learning as much as I can.

What up DMV Fam? I started my own mobile company, A1 Entertainment, primarily doing small events, parties, cookouts, etc. I spin just about everything, my favorites are classic house and club, old school hip hop, R&B, it takes me back to my younger days! I'm 39, and I experimented back in the day with old numark mixers and radio shack TTs, always wanted 1200s, couldnt afford it! I grew up in Edmondson Village area, Emondson High School, class of 88, Damn I'm old! EA-EA!, jus doing it for the love and passion that I have for music!
