Tópico: a quik question about keyboard mapping....

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

well i got my mappings to import from v5 to v6....i had to change the name of the xml file to keyboard mappings and put it into the mappings folder while removing the old one (the one factory for v6).....my question is how do i get it to make the same actions as the old versions shortcuts...for example my old short cut in v5 for SHIFT+Num +.01 would change my pitch from say 129.01 to 129.02 on the selected deck....now the lowest change that can be made would be say 129.01 to 129.04.....what would be the proper way to script this to make it read the way i want? ide also like to set script that would make changes in my pitch by a whole bpm at a time for example from 129 to 130 using just the num + buttons......any help would be greatly appreciated....

btw my script currently looks like this..... SHIFT +NUM+ = pitch +0.01....

In v5, the pitch on the skins was normally shown to 1 decimal place (E.g: 128.1) In v6, it is shown to 2 decimal places, e.g: 128.12

Even at the smallest pitch range, it's unlikely you will be able to match exactly to 2dp, and it's not necessary. Matched within the nearest 0.1 bpm should be sufficient (As per VirtualDJ v5 and earlier), and if it starts to drift, a quick tap on the pitch bend buttons will quickly correct long before any of the audience can notice.

NOTE: For most accurate adjustments, set the pitch range as small as possible, e.g: 8%

awesome thank you very very much!
