Tópico: pitch issues with 6.0.5

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I just tested 6.0.5 and the software is not picking not picking up my timecodes as accurately when I adjust the pitch. I never changed any settings and it was working right in 6.0.4. Something happened... any suggestions? Dont get me wrong it picks up the pitch but not minor adjustments to fine tune my mixes.

1) CD player or turntable?
2) Which timecode engine in VDJ?

Im using timecodes. V5. (I think, its the ones that came with Virtual Vinyl by Numark).

It says that v6.0.5 has had the following changes: "optimized pitch tracker in timecode engine"

My pitch is not being very responsive if i move it a little but if i move it quite a bit then i get some change. its hard to mix when the pitches are off and not responding.

I appreciate it. Only problem is my pitch is not drifting. Its just not being as responsive as it was in 6.0.3. I jumped 6.0.4. I tried using older vdj timecode engines but same issue or it just didn't work. maybe i should download the ones directly off of vdj.

Hey djmariomax, I recently upgraded to 6.5.0 and noticed that the pitch sliders and pitch readout on the screen weren't showing the same as the pitch on my turntable when using the VDJ Pro skin, but when I switched to the "CUE RMX by CIOCE" skin everything was accurate. I think it might be that the VDJ Pro skin just wasn't displaying the pitch accurately. For example, if I moved my turntable's pitch to 8% the VDJ Pro skin might show 7.5% even though the song was in actuality playing at 8%, the VDJ Pro skin was just not 'telling the truth', whereas the CUE RMX skin would show 8% as it should. Try the CUE RMX skin and see if it works.

I didn't think of changing the skin. Will try. Thanks.

Ok, so I tried changing the skin and I tried switching my time codes to the latest version which I downloaded off this website. Neither works. I noticed that 6.0.5 has "pitch improvements" and I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I am having the same type problems and its very hard to lay down a good mix if my sliders are jumping 2 to 3 bmp when I mix. ex. Im moving a song thats at 125 to 127 and when i use my pitch faders on my turntables when I move it a little it does nothing then all the sudden It jumps to 128? i dont get it?

Any solutions?
