Tópico: New Bug Issue with 6.05 [SOLVED]

Second time it has happened to me. I drop a video into the deck and hit play. Audio starts to play but a different video is on the screen.

Any one else experienced this yet? And what in the world could cause it to do this??

Never had this issue with earlier releases so must be something in the 6.05 update that is causing this to happen.

It's because you linked the video to that video ... right click on the file in question and is there a 'Remove Linked Video' option in the menu?
 
I have done this by accident. I dropped the track/video over the deck preview screen which created the link...

It's not a bug, it's a real feature...

its a real feature that i like and use. I can play a video, and then i can drop any song i want onto that channel while the video is playing assuming i did not start the video before i drop the song on that channel. Or i can play a video that may have racey parts to it, i can drop a clipbank image or clipbank video in there for the racey parts and then drop the video back into the video window and the video will be showing just as if i had never dropped a different image or video there. Pretty cool feature in my opinion.
 
you can turn it on or off in the config>video section.....I had this problem about a year ago or so (whenever version 5 came out) and some wonderful person on the board set me free....ahmen

I leave mine set to off for now as all my other dj's seem to want to load the video by dropping it on the screen instead of the waveform drop area
 
Thanks for the info.

I unchecked the box in the video tab.

No more problems.
