Hey people!
I just purchased a new Sennheiser headset, that was ment to work together with my Hercules Rmx Dj console, but i can't seem to make it work ?
- There is no sound in the headset?
My soundsetup is set like this:
Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Soundcard(s): 2 cards
Driver 1: Built-in Outputs
Driver 2: Hercules Dj Console
Output channels: Master : First card / Headphones : Second card
The speakers is set to the computer.
I'm using Mac and everything works, except the headphones.
Pleace Help!?

For Sound Setup, configure as follow:
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone
-Soundcard: DJ Console Rmx
Using the 2 card configuration is not possible since VDJ uses the first stereo pair of each soundcard. The Headphone connector of the Rmx being assigned to the second pair (output 3/4), VDJ cannot use it.

So you were not actually using the Rmx soundcard (as a 2nd soundcard) since you were only using the computer's speakers.
As I said, try the configuration I mentionned earlier and you'll see that your headphone will work.
Now, if you absolutely want to use your computer speakers ( I would recommend others but...) you can always try this:
- Run VDJ with the RMX as the only soundcard
- Connect the OUTPUT 1/2 of the Rmx to the LINE IN of your computer
- Download LINE IN from this site:
http://www.rogueamoeba.com/freebies/
- Configure it so that it uses the BUILD -IN as INPUT and OUTPUT, then click PASS THRU.
You should now be able to hear your main mix out of your computer's speakers and preview on the headphone.
