Do you bave a backup of your VirtualDJdatabase.xml file ?

i dont have it saved no. i can live with scanning it all again but it doesnt seem to be saving the database when i scan any new songs so im a bit worried - it just says internal database is corrupt eveytime i start it up. ill scan it overnight tonight and see how it turns out.

Please, can you tell me this :
1. what version are you running?
2. Does the database work, even if you do get an error message?

be sure to wait patiently when you close VDJ. That is when the database is updated. If vdj closes due to error, or you simply shut down the computer, your database will possible be corrupted.

If you still get the database corrupt message, you should get to modify the "internal database.xml" file to add the missing closing tags that are needed in the end of the file. Or else cut the file elswhere from your VirtualDJ root folder and see if virtualDJ creates a completely new database.
