Is there a way to make VDJ's "First Seen" time match the file systems "Date Created" time? I notice if VDJ gets shut down abnormally, It sometimes loses some files from the database. That means when it sees them again your first seen time is all screwed up because it thinks it hasn't seen that file before. I have to keep up with many genres of music which mean they get stuck in different directories. I rely on my "Recently Added" filter quite a bit. Can anyone rise to the task?

A friend of me created a little java tool that writes the date modified field in the mp3 tag 'comment' field as YYYY-MM-DD (without actually changing the file date)
this way you could use the 'comments' column to sort by date.
I Posted the tool in the tools/plugin section but is yet to be approved.
It does the trick for me.

I also suffer with this problem and can't believe this defect hasn't been addressed, it just unravels all the hard work to organized, hopefuly they are aware of it and have it on a todo list to resolve.
