Hey i was wondering how can i extract the default button map from VDJ.
Or where can i find a default copy of the VDJ map xml for a Hercules RMX.

In v6 trial, you can go to CONFIG -> Mappers, choose the RMX in the drop-down list, then click the reset to factory settings button at the bottom-left of the Mappers dialogue box.
 
Well I have the VDJ limited edition that came with the RMX and i wanted to see if i could extract the XML map that came with it. Change some of the assignments in the XML and use that since there is no way of changing the mapping through the LE version.
Is there just no way of extracting the xml from the LE version or obtaining a clean copy of the xml file?
 
The RMX version is a FREE limited edition of the software and does not support mapping.

The mapping in that version is hard coded into the software and cannot be changed in any way (Except the 6+6 buttons that can be assigned to a number of presets via the Hercules skin.)

I am very new to VDJ and just purchased it with my new Hercules Controller RMX. Call me dumb but I am new to this and don't know what the mappers used for? I see it in the configuration settings and hear a lot of talk about them but I have no idea what they control. I've been scared to touch them. Will someone please explain this to me?
