VDJ already has this which can be enabled in the keyboard shortcuts.
 
Yes, VirtualDJ has a 'censored' feature - it's called 'Bleep' ... can be assigned to a keyboard button or controller button. It plays the track in reverse for as long as it is active then returns to the original position of time if the action would not of been activated.

So if you activate the effect at 2:00 minutes and keep it active for 3 seconds. Then when released it will jump to 2:03 - censoring the 3 sec gap.

Actually the VDJScript actions is called 'dump' ... just assign it to a button on your keyboard or controller ... this is the common script command -> dump while_pressed
