When using the s-video out connection with an external display no text and no song titles are displayed (neither in the preview window nor on the external display). Though the text is displayed when used with the window video output.

I'm using an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller in an acer notebook with "hardware acceleration" disabled (not showing any video or a driver error message when enabled, though it worked in 2.1). Windows XP SP2, DirectX 9.0c with latest drivers installed.

Another little visual bug.. the "Cancel" button of the video text dialog box says "Annuler" when used with the english user interface.

did you activate hardware accelleration ?
 
no he said "disabled" (I tell you in case of he doesn't come here today).

daniels : I not found where you see 'Annuler' in 'video test' window.
 
My copy has this 'Annuler' button also,
(in text window i think.)
No big deal.
 
Can you say me the date of your LANGUAGE.XML file
 
I can confirm: OK, Apply, Annuler buttons in text window.

When i open it it says version "2.1" is this normal ?

It has for sure uptated (along with virtualdj.exe file), i know the latest updates 2.1 and 3.0 are changing these 2 files only (plus the default skin) and i keep backups manually just in case (easy rollback if i needed)
So it has updated.

Sizes (LANGUAGE.XML):
v2.06: 27.7 kb
v2.1 : 27.8 kb
v3.00: 28.3 kb

using the "fixed" installer 3.0 btw.
 
The Cancel/Annuler button has been fixed with the latest update (nologo) for me. thanks.

I also sorted out the video output problem mentioned in the first post. I installed an "unofficial" graphics driver which allowed me to use hardware acceleration and the text output was shown.

Ok thanks for your help ( I had the nologo version and I can't see the 'Annuler' Button :-)

Should text work though with hardware accelaration disabled ? - I have to disable it on my backup laptop otherwise the video does not appear.
 
Just wanted to bump this issue - after some testing it seems that the text feature only works with 'hardware acceleration' enabled - problem is i have to disable hardware acceleration to get the video to work. Is this a known bug/issue ?
