so I have everything set up and I have a mic hooked in, but in VDJ when I select a mic effect, the button just appears blank and gives me no options.
hoping there's a fix for this, have a gig in 2 nights.

1) Have you understood that the microphone effect don't operate in talk-over mode but in audio source mode ?
It means
- you can activate microphone effects only on the left deck (deck A)
- when you activate a microphone effect, the microphone streaming replaces the music played on deck A
- the position of the crossfader has a direct impact on hearing or not the microphone
- it is useful to increase the gain on the deck A to hear the microphone effect.
2) Please precise which version of VirtualDJ you use (is it VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC?), which effect you load, and detail your version of Mac OS (as Mac OS 10.5.8 or 10.6.3 you use).

yeah, sorry I realize that I didn't post much information.
I've come to find out that the Mic-Effects/Plugins just don't seem to work with Mac, because it works perfectly fine on my netbook.
I'm using 10.6.3, and VDJc 5.2.2.
maybe it works in VirtualDJ pro?
