since trying vidoes i now have mp3s /videos/karaoke files during gigs.i know vdj shows them different coloured wheels beside the track.but is there a way of the whole filename being different colours ie blue text foe karaoke yellow for videos ect.
sometimes (as im getting on in years lol) trying to get songs loading up in a hurry it hard to see

Until then... you may use a skin that has different coloured icons for those types. You can find a lot of skins with very nice icons.
You may also set the search options to show only the selected types you need.

you can even go into your current skin and modify the icons so that its
easier to identify. I have your same problem. what I do is I go in and tell it not to show videos when I only want audio
and v~v.
never thought about it but now I want to modify my skin.

glad to see it might be a good idea.i dont want to replace my skin cause i feel like i have my vdj running as i want.i will try look at changing icons.but maybe team could place this idea in wish list.
in reguards of searching for what i only want its the same trying to load in a hurry.i know that is not perfect djing rushing music but when you do different types in busy local pub with people changing songs last minite ect changing search way nearly as bad as trying to see colours.
as before maybe it might be a wish.this is stuff team are looking for to further make vdj the best software out there
