Tópico: I have an emergency with the RADIUS 3000

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I'm using the latest version of VDj and I'm trying to make it work with my AA Radius 3000 as midi. Here is my set up;

Two Radius 3000, Numark DXM06, and I'm using the virtual Vinyl interface. Ive tried just about everything and I can't get VDj to read my cdj's. Can someone help me on this one please. I know that there are several posting on this topic, but I really, really need some help right now. I would kindly delete this posting once I gt the answer, hopefully within the next hour or so.

Thank you,

Dj Ho.

Were they in MIDI mode before you opened VirtualDJ?

Did they install completely before you opened VirtualDJ?

What O/S are you using?

How are your connections? Are they going to two independent USB ports directly on the system? Or, through hub?

I'm using Windows Seven, and yes, I waited until the little window popped up and read that they were ready to use.

Directly to the system, I'm using no hubs.

What about waiting until they said MIDI mode on the display of the unit - before opening VirtualDJ ?

That too, it actually tells you to set them up on MIDI mode before launching virtual dj.

Well let's make sure the SysExID didn't change to something weird by the manufacture -

Download - http://www.virtualdj.com/download/miditrace.exe

Run the file - select the Radius 3000 in the two right boxes so they are highlighted

Then press the SEND button.

Copy and paste back here what is in the big box below the SEND button.

And you are using the latest version of VirtualDJ right?

Yes, I'm running the latest version. Let me run the script on my laptop.

One is working but the other one is not responding, only if it reads midi 1, are they both supposed to be in midi one?

They are both working, just the pitch wont' work but they are working. You guys are freaking awesome!!!! Thank you for all the support, now, just have to get the pitch to work.

Both are to stay on the Manufacture Defaults. So, yes the MIDI channel is to stay on 1 for both units.

The pitch has a built in ON/OFF ... press the button below the pitchbend buttons - the one that looks like a light.

Yes, I discovered it while I was setting it up at the gig. It was more like a family reunion, nothing big but I wanted to have them working and thanks to you, I love the way they work with Virtual Dj.

In the past I've had minor glitches with either the software or my hardware, and every time I ask for assistance, you guys have always come trough. I really, really appreciate the technical support that you guys provide and I have nothing but the very best to say about Virtual Dj.

Thank you, and I mean it when I say that you guys are amazing.

Sounds good, how's the quality of the radius 3000?

In particular, do the buttons feel good quality and do you ever get it where you push the button but the contact doesn't make a connection and so it doesn't do what you want it to?

Thanks!

So far, they are flawless, I love the way they feel, the way the respond and how you can set them up to your style of mixing. I bought them about a week ago, and I've been playing with them ever since.

The USB link is one of the features that I like the most because it can be linked, and there is no lag in the response time. I'm still having some problems with the bmp, but the use of the hold button seems to keep them from fluctuating.

I have a friend who swears by Pioneer, don't get me wrong, pioneer is an amazing brand, and loves the pioneer CDJ-2000, me too, but after he played with my Radius3000, and noticed all the things that they are able to do, now he is thinking about getting himself a pair.

If you can find a retail store that carries them, I would recommend that you check them out and get a feel for them, and as far as working fine with VDj, it is amazing how well they respond.

thanks for the info, very useful. I'm definitely considering these now.

If you ever get any problems later, don't forget to post on the forums so we know that they don't last!

now that they are both working just fine, I anticipate no problems at all, however, if anything does come up, I will post it here.

....I get ....

F0 7E 7F 06 02 00 01 70 20 0C 00 02 0B 00 00 00 F7
