Have you ever thought about another deck like the DEnon 3700's. You wouldnt have to buy the Maya 44 if you had the denons. I had Pioneer CDJ 1000mk3's and i sold it it to buy the 3700's. They are really good. You dont have to pay 899 if the price seems high.

What makes the DEnons better is that you can use it native, You can also use time codes cd's or download the time code signal into a usb stick. The Jog wheel is way better too. I scratched on 1200's, Numark cdx tables, Pionner cdj's etc and the denons feel really good.

Anything you do on virtual dj, it doesnt show up on the CDJ 800's. The CDJ 800's are for playing CDs and time codes. You can't control virtual dj native with these decks. The Decks has to have a USB port. Pioneer CDJ 400's have then, Denon 3700's have them and the new Numark decks have them too. The maya 44 is ok but get the M-Audio Connectiv sound card. Its sounds alot better

i got another question man if you cant control vdj with the pioneer cdj's then how were you running your pioneer cdj's with vdj i thought if you buy the timecoded cd's it will all cue up in vdj......also i have looked at the denon's pretty cool stuff......correct me if im wrong but from what your saying usb is the only thing that will cue up to all the functions of vdj....timecodes wont????

I was using the Pioneer cdjs with time codes. I had my songs cued up in the software and i triggered them on the laptop with the keyboard short cuts.
