Both 150 USD! I want to mount two of either one on a truss. Which of the both would be better to use as a wash on the dance floor? What do you guys recommend?

Looks like you'd get better coverage from the bars. If I were buying, it'd be the bars.

The panel is only using 5mm LED's so not as bright, You should be able to find a 10mm version. My personal opinion is that the colour bars are good for uplighting because it sits very tidy against the wall. I don't think they are suited for projecting to a dancefloor as wash because the beam casted is slightly more narrow. They still work good though.

I have 6 of the bars. They project a very bright beam of light. Up close to a wall it acts as a wash but further out, you get a pretty nice circle of light. I am using them now as my main lights for the dance floor. The panels are more of a wash light for sure.
