today i upgraded my vdj from vr. 5.2.1 to 6.0.8 most because i wanted to work with cdj 400 better and to pick a good resolution skin
now my laptop resolutions are 800x1280 after it 720x1280 and 768x1024 on invidia card
the two first dosnt match the skins on vdj and even if i try the cpu gets up soo no good.
in 768x1024 even that its not the best look the cpu us o.k but... and this is my question the waveform are not in the middle of the cube
below and if i pick the internal mixer on the old skin its back in the middel.

i want to know why the waveform moves a bit in the new skin with the same resolution and if it mean something ?
because it seems like if the waveform is not in the middle the resolution is not right... is it ?

First, its 1280x800 not the other way around.

Our default skins are 1024x768 and 1280x800
If you set your system resolution to match, it should size perfectly.

There is also a skin re-sizer available to you in the tools download section if needed.

Not sure what you are loading, but that should make it work and look right.
Do not drag skins to re size.
 
which of the skins are the default skins ? because when i pick 1280x800 on my laptop and on vdj the cpu is up by 20%
but if i pick 1024x768 and internal mixer or vdj6 pro skin the cpu is very low but the look is not sharp
about the waveform again if i pick 1024x768 and internal mixer tha line is in the middle and the same song in vdj6 pro 1024x768 skin its not exactly in the middle. and why there is no vdj6 pro 1280x800 skin ?
for notice i have invidia quadro nvs 135m graphics card

The default skins are now marked "virtualdj6 Pro" and usually have the resolution listed.

Please tell me what the system resolution is set to?
Right click on your desktop and select properties/display.

the best resolution on my laptop its 1280x800 but every skin i pick in this resolution the cpu is high
second best is 1280x720 and the same with the cpu. until now i worked with 1024x768 and internal mixer skin and the cpu was o.k
but the look not the best, and Every once in a while when i open vdj i get the messsege "The skin you are trying to use has a higher resolution than your screen resolution" with the same skin and the same laptop resolution (1024x768 and internal mixer)
my laptop specifications is core 2 duo t7200 2.4 ghz

Odd indeed that a 1024 skin would error with your res set at 1280.

Lets use the v6 default 1280 skin and nothing else.
Naturally a skin that is smaller is going to take less to run.
I don't find 20% usage exceptionally high and the skin is stable and not jerky.

Close and open with that skin with your system resolution set at 1280x800 and see what happens.

If you are in true full screen mode, you will not see 4 arrows for a cursor when you hover over the very top of the skin.
Check for that also.
 
o.k when im with 1280x800 in my lptop and vdj6 1280x768 when i see the 4 arrows cursor the cpu is low then press maximize
and the cpu is up to 25-30% same with 1024x768.
20-30% is high and not the best because when i load a song it jumps to 70% cpu and with what i was using until now it was up to 50%
when i wrote that i get the messege "The skin you are trying to use has a higher resolution than your screen resolution"
it was using internal mixer skin and laptop resolution of 1024x768 and i get the messege randomly once in a while.
what you suggest to do to get the best look and cpu ? i will be haapy to do all the test we need.

i see now when i pick v mix 5.4 1280-800 skin and my laptop is on 1280x800 resolution i get good cpu even maximize, strange...
 
PLEASE HELP! I downloaded a new skin, resolution was higher than i needed. I closed the program, and now i cant get it to open on my screen due to the resolution being too high. How do I get my program back up and fix this??? Thanks
 
You can either raise your system resolution or navigate to my documents/virtualdj/skins and delete the one you don't want.
This should force vdj back to the default skin.
 
mp3jrick is there any idea for me to get a good resolutuon and good cpu after reading what i wrote here ?
