Hi! Guys....

I need your feedback about this GPU... I'm getting a new HP laptop with this video device and I would know if you have video freeze.

The exact model of laptop is : Hp DV7 3007el

the best thing to do (if you are buying local) is to take VDJ to the store on a flash drive and get permission from the salesperson to load it and try it out for about an hour or so....most retailers I have encountered will let you do this as the machines reboot and restore every morning anyway so they don't worry about viruses.

Whether you buy local or over the internet be sure you get IN WRITING you can return the machine with NO restocking fee if you can not get VDJ to run properly.....if they won;t give this to you IN WRITING don't buy from them!

I have a GT 130 M and to be fair it is unstable as hell and crashes every time i scroll too fast in powerpoint. In VDJ no problems, although i don't use vids. :)
 
I have the similar laptop with the same 230 video card. i have no video freeze. Works excellent with any format. I'm running a 4 bay external drive with 4x1.5 tb drives. no stuttering, freeze or bleep with many things running in the background including wireless and anti-virus. I have the HP DV7-3157ca model. Used it for 3 months so far without a problem.
