Hey i have a DJM 400 + CDJ 1000 ,
i was wondering how can i connect them with my computer ??
I asked my friend, he told me that i needed serato scratch but that costs 600$ here...
So is there any other cheaper combination i can use to use VDJ or a Similar program ??
(turning my Cdj to midi controllers)
Anything so i can see a more visual effect of the beats and less depended on the ears ..
Thanks in advance

Although nothing beats beat-matching by ear, I would recommend that you get VDj and the time-codes Cd.

You have to have an interface, such as the virtual vinyl interface, or the one recommended here on VDj,

Scroll down to the "sound card" section. Find one that you might like, and what you do, is install the drivers to your computer, connect your sound card, I call them interface, to your laptop, your CDj's to the sound card, and your sound card to your mixer, get all the proper configurations, which are not hard at all to do so, pop the timecodes in your cdj's and you are ready to spin.

You dont need to pay 600 bucks. You can buy it used for around 300 to 400 bucks. Once you get the box, The software is free with updates. Check on ebay or Craigslist.
