Tópico: strange video artifacts - pixel noise

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Has anybody experienced strange picture artifacts when mixing videos? Please take a look at a screenshot http://j.imagehost.org/0285/VDJ.jpg It appears when two videos are played simultanously and I start scratching one of them. Everything works smoothly, only this strange pixel noise appears for few seconds sometimes.

I use ATI Radeon HD 3450 MXM II with Dual Core and 2 giga ram. It is realy annoing as I have already switched from previous NVidia card that was causing video freezes.

I have exactly the same problem with my new laptop; a hp with ATI 4330HD (tested with VDJ 6.0.8, 6.0.7, 6.0.5).
Never had this before with older laptops (even with another ati graphic card ATI 1250).

I have bought a new and powerful laptop to have better results and i can't use it.

If someone has informations about it...

PS: I use windows xp

I have tried HD 4330 on Windows 7 and it worked perfectly. Now, with HD 3450 I use Windows XP and have this problem. So, in my opinion it seems to be related to the operating system...

Old problem... update to the latest directx. Problem should be resolved after that. Had that prob 2 years ago. I believe those vid cards need minimum directx 10.

You will need a higher OS than XP to run that DX10 card. Win 7 or Vista.

If I understand, I can't have a good result with a ati HD 4330 with XP (because i can only use DirectX 9).

And, because i have another notebook with XP, I don't want to install windows 7 (with wich I know, I can install DirectX 11).

So, is there a way to solve my problem ?
