what ive done:

Backspin on deck B...

Videocodecs: VOB, AVI, mp4

Pefer. - Config Performance on Minimal

Soundcard - Connective 4in..

Preferences under Config Video normal ...

Mac Book Pro 13,3 Late 2009 - 256 MB dedizierten Video Speicher ..
OSX ..

any ideas ?

i have had the same issue with my macbook white, soon to test on the new MBP 13 inch...i suspect it has something to do with the fact the vid card shares memory with your ram...rather than having dedicated on board memory like the 15 and 17 inch models...from your descripton you probably have the 9400m vid card...same as me in my macbook white and i have the same type of issue, if you have dedicated ram on your card (i.e. not the 9400m like i have) lemme know...
 
i think in the mac book pro 13,3 you havel 256 mb dedicated video ram. only the white has no dedicated ram ?!
 
yeah thats the question, not sure, if memory serves it is 256, but shared with the main ram. if you go t the apple logo, about this computer, then click the more info...then select "display" does it show VRAM? If so, its virtual ram..shared with the main board ram.

ive go to the apple page and looked ob my series...

the late2009 mac book pro 13,3 has 256 MB Vram

Vram means -Video Random Access Memory

thats dedicated ;)

None dedicated Memory is announced as "Shared" or something else ..
 
well i am fresh out of ideas...
my new pro (13 inch) will be here on Tuesday so will test it out.
 
No 13.3 inch Macbook Pro has dedicated video memory as of now. You have shared memory. Your chip must be the nvidia 9400m since your lap is late 2009.
