Tópico: Westcoast YouTube DJs Live Convention - VDJ Representation!! - Page: 1

Esta parte del tópico es antigua y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I called VDJ and I sent an email twice regarding this event we have coming up and am not sure that it is getting to whom it needs to go to so I'll reprint it here in hopes that someone (the right person) will see it and possible put it motion... here is the letter.

To whom this concerns,

This is Paul A. Pervano, Sr. aka DJ RuDe (DJ RuDeDoGG from the VDJ forums). I am on the committee for this convention of DJs and vendors/manufacturers, etc. I would like to extend a welcome to Virtual DJ to be a part of this which is our first annual. We are expecting a great turn out for this event. Representatives from Pioneer will be on hand, Ableton, American DJ, Serato, Diamond Lasers, Marathon Cases and more are being added daily.

We will be broadcasting live on YouTube and The CrossFader Show with Jose Heredia & Johnny Aftershock will be live broadcasting as well. Myself as well as others will be there with our setups demonstrating our equipment and software. I will be there showing off DJing, VJing and karaoke with Virtual DJ and hope that you can send an authorized representative to discuss it's uses, compatibility with MIDI/HID controllers, and your new NetSearch subscription service which I think will be a big hit with the DJs attending the show. We will be doing YouTube tutorials on the software as well as NetSearch. (Note: I'm a believer in Netsearch and a new suscriber/Premium Member)

This is a free show and other than paying a person or a crew to come out, it won't cost you anything, but I can pretty much guarantee you that you will gain customers and new support for this awesome product that I endorse highly to anyone who asks me. We are sure that in the years to come our show will grow to become a well established DJ convention that will attract people from all over. Currently we have people coming from all over the US including the UK. My VDJ tutorials have helped thousands of people and there are many other YT DJs that have done the same. Many of us YT DJs will be there including the YouTube DJ who pretty much started it all, Brian S. Redd (aka the other DJ Tutor).

Here is a Link on Facebook for the event: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/West-Coast/109821869039780?ref=ts

The date is June 5th, 2010 at 12:00 PM PST in at a convention hall Moreno Valley, CA about 50 miles or so from your LA office.

It would be great if Virtual DJ can be there to represent!

Please let me know when you can so we can make the announcement if you will be in attendance. Please call me on my personal cell number listed below.

Yours very truly,

P.A. Pervano, Sr. (DJ RuDe)

Good luck on this Paul. Sounds like a cool deal...

Although the home office is in LA, most corp reps and teamers are elsewhere Paul.

I think we have banner/promo packs available that might help however.
This is the first I've heard of this.

Thanks guys, I talked with Andrew today. He is going to get someone out there. That's great news for us as well as the many DJs out there who will be attending. There will be 5 or 6 full mobile DJ systems set up including my ultra-elaborate overkill set up and DJ Advise's (aka DJ Mauro's) system which is a paradigm for the ultra-mobile, mobile DJ. He can fit his entire system into a PT Cruiser, and it sounds awesome!

I will be there representing the software too but I was hoping for some "official" support and now Andrew is going to come through with someone. There will be all of your favorite West Coast YouTube DJs there including The Abstract & Steelo Show, Brian S. Redd, myself (DJ RuDe), DJ Advise, Mikey Mike from Direct Sound, DJ Jay Brannon, The Crossfader Show with Jose Heredia & Johnny Aftershock Mancilla and many more...

Also there will be reps from Six Star DJ, Marathon Cases, American DJ/American Audio, Jay Brannon from Pioneer, Superstar DJs, and more are added daily...

I'm looking forward to meeting you too! If you have a Facebook go to the Facebook link there for the show, look for my name then add me...

Thanks Paul for the advertising the West Coast YouTube DJ event, in Moreno Valley California June 6th 2010 from 12-6PM. I will be featuring The Hercules DJ console RMX with Virtual DJ Pro, and showing all DJ’S that attend, how awesome, Virtual DJ and Net Search is. I will show the DJ'S how valuable Virtual DJ is for Instant requests on demand. And Music videos as well. Especially want every DJ to know, how beneficial becoming a Premium Virtual DJ member can be. Net Search is awesome, and now with GrooveShark reliable and high-quality catalog of more than 8 millions songs it makes it a win win for any DJ. I have been an advocate of Net Search since it's Inception, and see a great future for this exceptional service. Check out my first YouTube video on Net Search and Virtual DJ Pro. Thank you Atomixs for the outstanding products, and service.

Any other SoCal DJs going to attend?

Update, not only is Brian S. Redd (The US DJ Tutor from YouTube) flying in to attend (I'm picking his arse up at the airport) but Simon Fletcher of "The DJ Business" from the UK is attending to demonstrate the VMS4 for American DJ/American Audio with the bundled VDJ LE...

Any other SoCal DJs going to attend?

I'm almost broke, I'm not sure I can afford to go but I'll try. It might be worth it because I am unemployed, I don't wanna work $10hr an hour jobs no mo and I am not sure I can get the classes I want this summer to return to school. I my car(s) are gone, I'm just going to reboot my life while I still can and have no attachments.

Thanks for extended the invite Rude....

OK, just confirmed! I spoke with Andrew Van Almen, General Manager of Atomix Productions, Inc. that Virtual DJ
will be in the house as well as Steve Sharp from Hercules! They want to
work with American Audio/ADJ (who will also be there) regarding the release of the VMS4 which
comes bundled with Virtual DJ LE. I will also be there with my conglomeration of equipment and I will be working with VDJ representing the software as well as the new Netsearch subscription service!

I might be attending. Rude, you need to create the actual event on facebook so you can invite people not just the page.

I hear you man, I'm not in charge of that part. I'll look into it though...

Looking forward to meeting all of you!

There is an RSVP tab on the event FB page , plus you can send an invite to anyone on your friends list, which I did...

Only a few more days, anyone else going?

Damn, so close (I'm in Corona) but yet so far. I am stuck at home with the kids.

Sounds like fun.

So bring the kids?! This is an event where you can bring the family and it's free! No worries...
