If you are looking for software that will capture a still image of the screen there are tons of applications that will do well for you (some of them are even free). Go to download.cnet.com. You will surely find something that you like. If you are looking to capture moving pictures I suggest HyperCam (version 2.22.01). As long as you have a powerful machine, you can capture without any stuttering. It even works if you are using dual displays.
Regardless of what you get from there (or elsewhere) read the comments. They can save you some headache. Some software will have pop-up reminders or limits.
