Hey guys I have recently wanted to get in to DJing and I wanted to do it on the cheap to learn so I have bought a load of second hand equipment:
2 x Numark TT200
1 x Numark DMX09
2 x Serrato Scratch Vinyl
1 x Maya44 USB
2 x PreAmps -
*Input impedance
*Output impedance 50K
*Gain 34dB
*Max input 1.8V rms
*S to N ratio 50dB
I downloaded VDJ trial a few days ago and have been endlessly browsing these forums and searching google on how to get my vinyls to work, but my original problem was that my signal was not strong enough from the decks the the maya sound card, the only way I could get a virtual vinyl working was by putting it through my mixer and turning up the gain on the inputs and master output. That is why I bought the 2 Preamps but now I am getting horrible static like noises from the input when I listen to it through windows and in the TCV set up window in VDJ its just funny square shapes no matter how much I change the settings and a horrible noise. I can get my mixer working fine on its own and I have read just about all the tutorials and problem posts I can find on the subject and I seem to be having no luck, my guess is either VDJ cant handle the preamps because they are overdoing it or I need to get rid of the static some how, I am not too sure but it has cost me almost double my budget already trying to fix this and I havnt even bought virtual dj yet because I can't get it working.

Hey, thank you for your quick reply, yes I have been through this and searched through many of the other problem people seem to be having with TCV on the forums and I can't find anyone who has a solution to my problem.

My Virtual Vinyl came with its own soundcard, why are you using the Mya44??

I don't have Virtual Vinyl, I'm using Serato Vinyl's, I should have wrote TCV instead of VV.
