Hello, im new to djing, i know nothing about it actually (not yet):P
So im trying to download the trial to make sure im going to like it, or even buy it and then start buying gear, but anyways I tryed to download the trial several times and it keeps trying to save to my J: drive which i dont even have.... now i download this program on my laptop it goes straight to my C: drive and runs, but the problem is the CPU gets maximized easily so it wont run smooth. So how do i make this file go to my C: drive and not some J: drive i dont have.

Hi Jack...welcome to VDJ...:o)
When you're saving the download, don't you just choose where you want it to save to?
When it appears with the save options, click save and then decide where you want it to go.
Do you have some sort of external drive plugged in, like a USB stick or anything? That's the only way i can think of it trying to save to a J drive. In any case, you should be able to choose where you want it to save to.
As for the maxing CPU, well it depends on what you're doing...are you analysing files? If so, this is normal on a single core cpu.
What are you PC specs? A little further insight would be helpful for us to work out any issues.

Pretty sure this is a Vista permissions thing.
What happens is the .exe gets bounced away from the c drive because its not a known application registered with MS.
Make sure you are saving this install file to your desktop.
Then right click on it and select "run as administrator" with UAC User Account Control shut off in control panel/security.
If you are running multiple user accounts, copy the vdj file folder from my documents to the other user accounts.
If the exe has been modified by your antivirus in any way it will not run properly (changed from .exe to something else).
