Whats happening my felllow DJ's!! well last night I had a Blast...till the last 30 minutes of my gig! I notice my speakers was popping and then they started going in and out like somebody was touching the positive n negative wires together in a steady pace! I notice on my amp my signal was very weak, the lights was barely flashing and i know they suppose to b on solid! the amp wasnt cliped at all..i went into panic mode checking all da wires...my nerdy azz brother-n-law said just restart the program "vdj"...n wala everything was back to normal...he said something bout the proccesor and da mp3 sumthing? does anyone know what happen last night n what can i do prevent it again?..i was djing for bout 6 hrs if this helps!

I was at da Raddison Hotel hear in Memphis...the banquet room was cool...so dont know whats da problem?...I did a Barbecue da next day outside....no problem! even though i only had the amp only at a quarter turn...this is my setup...2 sv115 yamaha club loudspeakers,qsc gx5 amp,numark total controller and the dj/io for the soundcard..and my laptop is an hp g71 220gig hard drive and 4 gigs of memory....I got 181 gigs free on hard drive all my music is strictly on external hard drive so that shouldn't have slowed down the processor if that what happen!

June 18th I was out in 107 Degree Weather everything was fine from 3pm - 8pm then everything started to act up.
turned out to be power voltage. I would have expected this to happened when the sun was out but it didn't until later on.
i am so glad I no longer run Mackie speakers/amps the show would have been over at 5pm.
