Tópico: Special VDJ Mapping Code for CDJ900/2000

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi guys.
I'm wondering if someone can help me out with some VDJ Mapping code for my CDJ900 (and thus would also work with CDJ2000)
I have a fairly good idea about how to apply code, but this one is a bit above me :)

Let's say I throw a loop of one, on the very last beat just beat just before a song drops.
I would like to use the platter or the jogwheel of the CDJ to smoothly decrese the loop down to nothing (or 1/64th or whatever it is) as I spin the platter or jogwheel clockwise.
I want to have full control by the speed that I spin the platter or jogwheel, and then want to 'wind' it back out to a full one beat loop by spinning it anticlockwise again, (and then I will releasing the loop, and the song will drop).
What i mean, is that I don't want to cut the loop in half, then half again, then half again, as I already know how to do this, I want it to be a smooth 'wind'

I realise that for this to work, I will need to use a 'SHIFT' function (and probably hold that SHIFT button throughout the process), and I would like the SHIFT button to be the REV button on the CDJ. (as I don't have it mapped for anything else)

Can someone with a good understanding of mapping assist me here?
Really appreciated.
I will even record my achievement and post it on here if someone can help :)

I am here to have a look. I still do not have a controller and pushing my Keyboard as much as I can. Sorry mate.. I may not be able to offer help here unfortunately.

thanks for having a look.
who else on the forums is good at mapping that may be able to help me out?
SBDJ ?? (you probably get asked for favours way too often :) )

We all will get there..I am script oriented..may be because of my computer background... anyway I am sure there will be quite a few of us who can develop this area of VdjScript usage. Fairly new field and hence still under developed as far as a the usage goes. And guess what SERATO does not have it.

I am from New Zealand and called the SERATO boys otherday and they were pretty impressed of what I told them about Vdj.

is anyone in the forums expertly at mapping who can help me with this?

Who is 'god' of VDJ script?

I'm sure nobody has the spare time for something this complex, but if someone can get it working, I can work out a 'deal' with them via private message.
Say, surfwear clothing (from our website, which i'm pretty sure i'm not allowed to post) to do this script.
otherwise, is there another way?
