When searching for music in the browser, virtual dj brings up music files that have been moved or deleted, I can drag and drop the files on the decks to reveal there name with an -Error message at the end but no wave forms or music. My question is is there a way to make virtual dj forget these files, so they don't pop up when i search for the name? It makes it really hard to find the actual file that works. Im running VDJ on windows XP over boot camp on my mac book pro. ANy way please and thanks in advance for the advice.

Can't you just delete the files that it can't play?
Incidentally, why can't it play them...what type of files are they? Check your codec's and make sure they are set correctly.
I'm having similar issues with videos just now and have just decided to re rip them all, but i wouldn't have thought the same would be happening with audio tracks.
Personally i'd delete the faulty ones and keep the good ones.
Good luck...(",)

I am having the same problem. As a note, if you have a drive or file that you dont want to search, you can right click on the folder and not select not to search it. It will still be available if you click on it to open, but you can remove a whole drive if you want.
My problem is that i have used an F drive for the music but now copied all the files to my C drive. But it still finds all the F drive in the history, but the files arent there, the F drive isnt even hooked up.
